Developer Mode

Enable it: Settings → Advanced → Developer Mode

What it unlocks:

Right-click any user, channel, or server to Copy ID
This gives you the unique numeric ID Discord uses for everything
Essential for bot development, reporting issues, and advanced moderation

Secret Text Formatting

\not italic\ — Escape formatting with a backslash

Member Count in Server Sidebar

To see exact online/offline counts:

In your server, the right sidebar shows Online and all members
Members are sorted by role hierarchy first, then alphabetically

Inbox Triage

Click the inbox icon (📥) at the top right to see all recent @mentions across all servers — even ones you've already read. Great for catching missed pings.

Message Bookmarks

Save messages to read later:

Hover over a message → Click ⋯ → Bookmark
Access bookmarks from the inbox icon → Saved

With Nitro, hold the reaction emoji to make a "Super Reaction" — a full-screen animation that plays for everyone in the channel.

Listening to Spotify Together

If you have Spotify connected:

Click on someone whose status shows Spotify activity
Click Listen Along to sync playback with theirs

Streamer Mode

Hide personal information when streaming: Settings → Streamer Mode → Enable

Hides invite links, personal info, and notifications on screen
Automatically activates when OBS or streaming software is detected
