What Is Discord Rich Presence?

Rich Presence is a Discord API feature that lets games display detailed status information in your Discord profile. Instead of just showing "Playing Valorant," it might show:

Your current game mode
Your rank or score
How long you've been in the session
A "Ask to Join" or "Spectate" button

How to Enable / Disable Rich Presence

You control this in Discord settings:

Open Discord → User Settings (gear icon)
Go to Activity Privacy
Toggle Display current activity as a status message
Toggle Share your detected activities with others for specific privacy options

You can also disable per-game activity sharing without disabling it globally.

How to Link Games Manually

Open Discord → User Settings → Registered Games
Click Add it! if your game isn't detected automatically
Launch the game first, then add it here
It will appear in your status while the game is running
