⚔️ What Is Crimson Moon?
Crimson Moon is a Gothic action RPG developed by ProbablyMonsters. Players take control of a Nephilim, a human and angel hybrid fighting to reclaim the fallen city of Gildenarch from demonic forces.
The game launched on September 1, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
🔥 Combat and Gunplay
Crimson Moon does not focus on gunplay. Its combat is built around fast, brutal melee attacks, supernatural abilities, Weapon Arts, dodging, and Angel Mode.
Weapons have unique Weapon Arts that can completely change how a build plays. Players can also combine weapons, armor, trinkets, Boons, and Angels to create different combat styles.
👹 PvE Enemy Types
Gildenarch is filled with several enemy groups, including:
• Demons
• Undead
• Vampires
• Hellgrowth abominations
• Powerful Dead Gods
Missions also feature challenging boss encounters and increasingly dangerous areas called Wards.
🏆 Progression and Co Op
Crimson Moon uses replayable hunts where players collect equipment and improve their builds. Successful hunts allow weapons, armor, and trinkets to be purified and added to the collection.
The game supports two player online co op, with difficulty scaling and a shared life pool.

The Deluxe Edition includes access to an upcoming Post Launch Content Expansion, showing that additional content is planned beyond launch. Detailed future content should be treated as unconfirmed until officially announced.
