👽 What Is the Battlefield 6 Dead Space Event?

Dead Space: Convergence is a limited-time Halloween crossover between Battlefield 6 and EA's sci-fi horror series Dead Space. EA calls it a non-canon "what if" story.

The setup is simple. A Marker, the alien artifact from Dead Space, has been discovered in a classified facility beneath Area 51. Its influence is spreading through Pax Armata forces, and if nobody stops it, the result is a catastrophic "Convergence."

The event is part of Season 5: Siege of Las Vegas, which launched on 13 October with the new Vegas Strip and Area 51 maps.

🎯 How Marker Incursion Works

Marker Incursion is the headline mode. EA describes it as "a new 16-player PvE experience where squads battle through corrupted territory."

Here's what you do:

1. Squad up and push through infected areas of the facility.
2. Fight Marked Soldiers, former military personnel who now treat everyone as an enemy.
3. Destroy Marker Shrines, smaller structures that spread the Marker's influence and pull in more enemies.
4. Stop the Convergence before the Marker takes over.

Keep an eye out for the DS-23 Pulse Rifle. It's a battle pickup in Marker Incursion, and for the event it also turns up in Battle Royale and Rapid Royale. Players have also spotted Dead Space easter eggs hidden around the map.

🎁 Every Dead Space Reward and How to Get It

The event runs on a limited-time currency called Semiconductors. You earn them by:

• Completing event challenges
• Eliminating Marked Soldiers in Marker Incursion
• Finding Marked Soldiers in Battle Royale and Rapid Royale
