🚙 What Is the over the hill Game?

over the hill is a driving game, not a racing game. You take 4x4s from the 1960s to the 1980s into wild, open terrain and try to get from one place to another without getting hopelessly stuck.

To get through tough spots you use planks and winches, read the ground carefully and help each other out. According to Daily Downforce, players "try not to get stuck somewhere they can't get out of." There's also wildlife photography and vehicle customisation.

It's made by Funselektor, the studio behind art of rally, working with Strelka Games.

👥 Why It's Perfect for Discord

over the hill shines in a voice channel:

• Four-player online co-op. Play with up to three friends in the same world.
• Teamwork is the gameplay. One person winches, another guides, and someone inevitably rolls down a hill.
• It's calm. It's a chilled, chatty game that's easy to play while catching up with friends.
• It's great to stream. The relaxed pace and pretty landscapes make it easy viewing for friends watching on Discord.

That's why streams on Discord grew even faster than plays this week.

Half the fun of over the hill is the disasters: the truck balanced on one wheel, the winch that pulls the wrong car. If you want to stream your runs, our Discord streaming guide explains how to connect Twitch, YouTube and Kick to your server.
