The Ultimate Guide to Hades 2: The Final Olympian DLC
Hades II is Supergiant Games' sequel to Hades, starring Melinoë as she battles the Titan of Time, Chronos. The game officially launched in v1.0 on September 25, 2025, following its Early Access period.
Despite rumors about a "Final Olympian" expansion, Supergiant has not officially announced a post-launch DLC with that name.

Story / Overview
Hades II follows Melinoë, Princess of the Underworld, as she attempts to defeat Chronos and uncover the mysteries surrounding her family and the Olympian gods.
The v1.0 release added the true ending, new character events, music, Fated List prophecies and late-game unlockables.
Mount Olympus
Mount Olympus is part of Hades II's Surface route, rather than a future DLC biome.
The Warsong Update added the route's final confrontation and expanded the story surrounding Melinoë's battle above the Underworld.
Players can therefore explore two major routes during their runs, each with different locations, enemies, bosses and characters.

Weapons and Aspects
Hades II features the Nocturnal Arms, with multiple Aspects that can significantly change how each weapon plays.
The Unseen Update introduced hidden Aspects for the game's main weapons, giving experienced players additional ways to build their runs.
However, new Apollo-specific weapon Aspects have not been officially announced.

Olympian Gods
Melinoë can receive Boons from numerous Olympian gods, including Apollo, Zeus and other major figures from Greek mythology.
Apollo's Boons are already part of Hades II rather than evidence of a future DLC expansion.
Post-Launch Content
Supergiant has released post-launch patches following the v1.0 launch, adding fixes, new events and additional content.
The developer has not confirmed a major paid expansion or a "Final Olympian DLC." Its official v1.0 announcement said that the team would first focus on monitoring the launch, addressing issues and taking time to reflect before deciding what comes next.
Platforms and Availability
Hades II is available on:
- Nintendo Switch
- Nintendo Switch 2
- PC
- Xbox Series X|S
- Xbox Cloud
The Xbox version launched on April 14, 2026 and is available through Xbox Game Pass.
Why It Matters
Hades II expanded the original game's formula with a second major route, new weapons, hidden Aspects, additional gods, familiars and a much larger story.
Its v1.0 launch also completed the game's main story and Early Access development.
