Grand Theft Auto VI is set to release on November 19, 2026, exclusively on PS5, PS5 Pro, and Xbox Series X/S. There is currently no confirmed PC release date.

- Standard Edition — $79.99 / £69.99
- Ultimate Edition — $99.99 / £89.99
- Players can upgrade from Standard to Ultimate at any time, even after launch.
- Pre-ordering either edition includes the Vintage Vice City Pack as a bonus.
Pre-Order Details
- Pre-orders opened on June 25, 2026 via the PlayStation and Microsoft Stores.
- Digital pre-loading is expected to start November 12, 2026.
- No discs are included in physical copies — activation still requires a digital download.
Marketing Timeline
- Two trailers have been released so far; no full gameplay footage has been shown as of August 2026.

Setting and Characters
GTA 6 is set in the fictional state of Leonida, featuring a return to Vice City. The story follows criminal couple Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, both of whom are playable.
