- Choose the reason and submit
Reporting a User

- Click on the user's name or profile picture
- Click the three dots (⋯) in their profile
- Select "Report User"
Mobile:

- Tap the three dots
- Select **"Report"
Reporting a Server
To report an entire server:
- Go to dis.gd/report
- Select "Report a server" as the category
- Provide the server invite link or ID
- Describe the violations in detail
Reporting via Discord Support
For serious violations:
- Go to support.discord.com
- Click "Submit a Request"
- Choose the appropriate category:
- Provide all relevant context: screenshots, user IDs, server IDs
How to Get User and Message IDs
To report accurately, you'll need IDs:
- Enable Developer Mode in User Settings → Advanced → Developer Mode
- Right-click any user or message → "Copy ID"
- Include these IDs in your report for faster investigation
What Happens After You Report
- Discord's Trust & Safety team reviews the report
- They may take action (warning, suspension, permanent ban) without notifying you
- Not all reports result in visible action — Discord doesn't share enforcement details publicly
- Serious reports (illegal content) are escalated appropriately
When to Contact Local Authorities
For immediate threats to someone's safety, contact local law enforcement. Discord will cooperate with law enforcement requests.
