How to Encourage Boosts

1. Show What Members Unlock

Create a #boosts channel showing current boost count and what unlocks at the next tier.

2. Give Boosters Exclusive Perks

  • Exclusive text or voice channels
  • Custom colour role
  • Priority in events
  • Shoutout in announcements

3. Make the Ask Personal

A personalised ask from the server owner performs better than a generic call to boost.

4. Run Boost Drives

Set a goal and deadline: 'If we hit 7 boosts by Sunday, we unlock the animated server icon!'

Nitro and Boosting

  • Discord Nitro ($9.99/mo) includes 2 boost credits/month
  • Discord Nitro Basic ($2.99/mo) does not include boosts
