Discord Anti-Raid Guide: How to Protect Your Server

A Discord raid is a coordinated attack where multiple accounts flood your server simultaneously. Here's how to prevent them and respond when they happen.

Understanding Raids

Raids typically involve:

Mass joins — dozens of accounts joining in seconds
Spam flooding — filling every channel with noise
Mass pinging — @everyone or individual member mentions
NSFW bombing — posting graphic images across channels
Bot accounts — often newly created accounts with no profile

Layer 1: Verification Settings

Go to Server Settings → Safety Setup.
