Naughty Dog has finally addressed the long silence surrounding Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, and the studio's message is clearer than the recent leaks suggested: the game will not receive its full reveal until 2027.
Studio head Neil Druckmann said Naughty Dog intends to remain quiet about the project for the rest of 2026 before fully unveiling the game in 2027. The announcement came alongside a new piece of Intergalactic artwork during the studio's latest The Last of Us Day update.
That does not mean Intergalactic has been delayed to a 2027 release. Naughty Dog has only confirmed that the full reveal is coming in 2027, while the game itself still has no announced release date.

Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet is Naughty Dog's new science-fiction IP and its first completely new franchise since The Last of Us.
