Free Hex Eyes Nameplate: How to Claim It Before October 21, 9AM PT

Free Hex Eyes Nameplate: How to Claim It Before October 21, 9AM PT

Your free nameplate will not show up on its own.

If you collected 4 Cauldron Chaos items, you have until October 21, 2026, 9AM PT to redeem the Hex Eyes nameplate on desktop. After that, it is gone.

This guide covers the Hex Eyes nameplate claim: who qualifies, where to click, what happens if you miss the deadline, and a time zone table so you do not lose track of the cutoff.

🔥 Main Story: Claim the Hex Eyes Nameplate Yourself

Discord’s Cauldron Chaos help article says anyone who collected 4 qualifying items unlocks a free nameplate from the same collection. Once unlocked, you have until October 21, 2026 at 9AM PT to redeem it.

The article is clear that the nameplate is not automatically granted. You must claim it yourself on your desktop client, in the Shop home or in the Cauldron Chaos collection.

The key fact: Discord says it can’t manually grant the nameplate after the window closes, and its Support team can’t make exceptions.

🎮 What Happened

Cauldron Chaos launched on October 1 as Discord’s Halloween Shop drop. Discord’s Halloween blog post promised an exclusive fifth collectible to anyone who collected four items by October 14.

The help article gives the exact window. Items had to be collected between October 1 at 9AM PT and October 14 at 9AM PT, and the redemption window runs one week longer.

🎃 Claim flow: 🛍️ Collect 4 items → 🔓 Nameplate unlocks → 🖥️ Open Shop on desktop → ✅ Claim in the reward modal → 🪪 Apply it in Edit Profile

🧠 Why It Matters

This is the kind of reward people lose by assuming it is automatic. Discord’s article lists “manual claim required” as one of the reasons people do not see their nameplate.

The cost of missing it is real. Discord estimates the Hex Eyes nameplate at $5.99, and says it cannot be claimed after the deadline.

⚠️ Important: The window to earn the nameplate closed on October 14. This post is for people who already own 4 qualifying items and still need to claim.

🔍 Deeper Breakdown

Who Qualifies

Any 4 qualifying items count, whether you bought them or received them as gifts. Discord says a bundle counts per item, so a 3 piece bundle counts as 3 of your 4.

Gifting does not work the other way. If you gift an item to a friend, it counts toward their total, not yours, because they are the one who ends up owning it.

You can only unlock one free nameplate, even if you collected more than 4 items.

How to Claim It

Open the Shop or the Cauldron Chaos collection page on desktop to check your progress. Once you have 4 items, claim the nameplate in the reward claim modal.

Then apply it. Discord’s steps say to open your profile by selecting your avatar in the bottom left corner, choose Edit Profile, and select the Nameplate box. Our guide to Discord nameplates from Discord’s help center explains more about how they work.

Why You Might Not See It

Discord lists three common reasons. First, you may not have 4 eligible items yet.

Second, the claim window may have passed. Third, you may not have claimed it manually, since the nameplate is not granted on its own.

There is a fourth possibility. Discord says the promotion is unavailable on some platforms and regions, and only people who can see it in their Shop can take part.

💡 Note: You can buy the collection on mobile, but Discord says you need desktop or a browser to claim your unlockable item. Look for the promotion in your Shop to confirm you are eligible.

What Happens If You Miss It

You forfeit the nameplate. Discord says it can’t be claimed after the window closes, even if you owned 4 items before the deadline.

Shop items are also not refundable under Discord’s policy, so you cannot undo a purchase after unlocking. If you still don’t see the reward after checking everything, contact Discord’s Support team before the deadline.

What We Know

• Confirmed: the nameplate must be claimed manually on desktop by October 21 at 9AM PT, and it is worth about $5.99 per Discord.
• Reported: you can also find the claim button in a promotion banner in the Shop.
• Not confirmed: which regions are excluded, since Discord only says select regions.

What Could Happen Next

This section is speculation. Discord has said more Halloween drops are coming, including Dead by Daylight and Nightmare Before Christmas collections.

It could attach similar unlock rewards to future drops. Nothing like that has been announced.

📊 Quick Comparison

🕘 Deadline in Your Time Zone

Discord states the deadline as 9AM PT on October 21. Pacific Daylight Time is in effect on that date, so these conversions should hold.

Treat these as a guide, and claim well before the cutoff.

💡 Creator Note

If you run a server or a creator channel, a short reminder could save your members a nameplate. Here are a few ideas.

• Post the deadline in your announcements channel today.
• Tell members to check the Shop on desktop, not mobile.
• Pin the steps for claiming and applying the nameplate.
• Mention Discord’s other Halloween offer, a free familiar avatar decoration for gifting Nitro, explained in this help article.

🚨 What Happens Next

• Watch the clock on October 21 at 9AM PT.
• Watch the Shop for more Halloween collections.
• Watch Discord’s help center for updates to the promotion.
• Check your profile to confirm the nameplate applied.

Claim today → Apply the nameplate → Check your profile → Enjoy Halloween

Final Takeaway

This is a simple reward with an easy way to lose it. The unlock is automatic, but the claim is not.

If you own 4 Cauldron Chaos items, open the Shop on desktop now and claim the Hex Eyes nameplate. Do not wait for the last hour.

The best Halloween treat is the one you actually remember to pick up.
